Machine Learning algorithms are one of the new and important fields of data science and statistics. Applying these algorithms could lead to better insights about data. For example, in fMRI studies, using Machine learning algorithms make better understand the brain and its different regions.

Machine learning group to apply these algorithms to study the brain and give better insight of fMRI data.
For example, drivers can be classified by machine learning methods based on the different distraction factors and this can be a way to determine high risk and low risk drivers.    
  
Reza Aliakbari Khoei  has PhD degree in biostatistics from Tarbiat Modares University in Iran, who is currently the leader of the Biostatistics and Epidemiology group of Functional Magnetic Resonance Research-Lab.
He also works at Research development and coordination center (RDCC) of TUMS as a biostatistician. His research interests are Survival analysis, Machine learning methods, fMRI studies and Bayesian regression models.
